In general, we are following the guidelines in the Canadian Government style guide.
- Avoid using semicolons. Instead, simply break into two sentences. We can use semicolons in complex lists (i.e. lists that contain items that contain comas).
- Avoid using colons when introducing speech. For example never say
- Then the Blessed one said to them: “Monks, there are two…”
